So we arrive in Tokyo on the 8th but at 9:45pm so straight to hotel after airport.
9th: we have an 8 hr tour to Fuji starting at 8am. This includes a cruise on one of the lakes plus the ropeway and something else I can’t remember. Still waiting for travel agent to send info through.
10th: Pokémon centre as well as the hop on and hop off bus.
11th: Disneyland.
12th: Ueno Zoo to see pandas.
13th: moving to Kyoto for 3 nights.
14th: don’t have anything planned but if anyone has ideas for Valentine’s Day it would be nice.
15th: 3 (or 4) hour tour in the morning doing Fushimi Imari, Kinkaku-ji, and another temple I don’t know the name of.
16th: going to Hiroshima for 1 night but thinking of doing the manga museum in the morning before leaving.
17th: we have a private 4 hour tour going to the museum, peace memorial and bomb site. As well as Hiroshima castle and shukkeien. Then moving to Osaka for two nights.
18th: universal studios, have purchased the extra tickets to get in to Nintendo world.
19th: our last day but our flight back to Australia is 11:20pm so plenty of time to explore Osaka.
We have a 14 day rail pass and we’re just going to take our luggage with us. Might need the occasional taxi/bus but I think cause we’re doing tours and everything else is kind of walking distance it should be fine.
My partner would like to see the Suntory yamakazi distillery but tours are booked out and apparently general viewing is only 1/2 hour?
Any advice or recommendations would be great! And I’d like to do a class of some sort but I can’t seem to find any we both want to do.
Also as I’m planning to take both cash and card, I’m unsure of how much to get out in cash. So do people use their card or cash more or it’s same same?
