IKEA complaints department?

So we bought a bed frame from IKEA Japan – from a branch, not online and have been trying to deal with a complaint. And, since it’s Japan, no one can help us outside of their manuals. We want to take the complaint further than the customer service front line – who have been absolutely useless and just continue to tell us there’s nothing they can do. Any ideas? An email or phone number we can contact from higher up? There must be another way to make a complaint and actually get a reply from this company. We’ve been to the store to complain in person, but, again, useless and no help at all. It’s getting super frustrating finding someone who’ll actually listen.
Thanks in advance!

    *eyeroll*

Did you actually explain the problem to them? I bought a sofa once that they delivered with two right sides instead of a right and a left. A simple phone call and they came a few days later with the right part.

What is your complaint and have you explained it to them properly? Or is this a case of lost in translation?

  2. Honestly, IKEA customer service is one of the best; did you explain your situation to the customer service counter in that store?

  3. I had a problem with a table. The holes weren’t done enough well to fit one leg of the table.
I called the shop and they sent me a new leg, checked with me that it worked this time and then took back the old one! If I recall well I had to wait for a week to get the exchange (for free)

  4. It might help a little if you could share a bit more about what you’re looking to complain about.

Even better, if you could also share what resolution are you looking (hoping?) for…
