Hi, I’m moving out of my current apartment soon and I wanted to make sure they don’t try to make me pay for anything. Everything seems fine except for [these](https://imgur.com/a/qINmS3w) red stains on my bathtub that randomly came with water dripping from the walls a year ago. I bought something from Daiso that somewhat works but is way too inefficient and time-consuming. Someone from another subreddit suggested something called Bar Keeper’s Friend, but I need to hand over the key real soon and I can’t wait for shipping. Does anyone have any alternative products that I can pick up at a store or anything that might clean these stains? Thank you!

Probably just a mineral build up, so I’d recommend melamine sponges from the hundred yen shop and some elbow grease.
BKF is basically 90% abrasive, with a touch of a surfactant (soap) and bleach. Scrubbing the shit out of it with a melamine sponge would probably do it for ya. Stretch your wrists and hands first! Don’t hurt yourself.
I had good results with wrapping the whole bathtub in kitchen towels – the strong variety, not the cheap. Then soak the towels in bleach, basically just pour bleach liberally over everything. Leave overnight, then clean out. You need gloves for that job.
