There are also monthly meetup/planning channels so react accordingly, you can create threads for specific dates/locations if you so desire.
In the past, people have used [LINE](https://line.me/en/) to coordinate and plan meetups.

Hi everyone!
My wife (33F), 6 month old daughter and I (32M) will be in Japan from February 2 through the 21st. We would love to meet up for food, visit a temple or shrine, or go to a museum with another couple, especially one that has a young child! Though we are cis and hetero, we’re also open to meeting people from the LGBTQ+ community. In fewer words: we are LGBTQ+ friendly!
We live in Washington State, USA, but my wife has been to Japan several times and speaks at maybe level N3. We love the outdoors, great food, and people watching. We’re also always interested in learning about others’ hobbies and interests, and are willing to do stuff out of our comfort zone.
We’ll be in Kyoto from Feb 2-7, Fukushima and Tochigo (Nasu, Aizu~, Nikko) from Feb 8-16, and Tokyo from Feb 17-21. We’re planning to go to Disneysea on the 21st. Message me if you’re around and would like to meet up!
