The only thing they can legitimately request is proof of residence or rather right to reside. So a copy of your resident card. Otherwise safe to ignore. It’s a request not a demand. You’ll notice there is no notice saying your account will be closed if you don’t respond.
It’s normal procedure now. I’ve received that from all three banks where I have accounts. And if you are a US citizen, there is more paperwork to do. Fun times.
