I have been seeing the posts of just how socked in Kanazawa is from the snow storms right now. Current plan has us in Tokyo for 5 days, Kyoto/Osaka for 2, then to Kanazawa and then back to Tokyo. Was Kanazawa a bad choice for this time of year? Should I be looking for alternatives?

Wow! Just did this route in November.
Kanazawa gets LOTS of snow.
You might consider more time in Kyoto or add in Hakone (with Fuji views) on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto.
I‘m in Kanazawa now. Don‘t come lol. It‘s not worth it
