Is there another way to get my Tax withholding slip? I’m starting a new job next month, and one of the requirements for the onboarding process is the 源泉徴収票. The thing is that I’m worried about the previous company not cooperating with my request. I didn’t do anything bad, but I worry they might be uncooperative. Thus, my reason for asking this question.
Any help is very much appreciated.

The law requires them to provide you with tax documents when you leave the company. They can’t refuse regardless of what they think of you.
you did not receive it last december? if you received an envelope, it may contain both payslip and withholding form
Call them, they are required to reissue it. If they ignore, or decline, go to the nearest tax office and fill out a form, and the tax office will request it on your behalf. I can’t remember the name of the form, something like 源泉徴収票不交付届け.
