Hi guys!
This will be my first time travelling alone and to Japan, I will be getting the 7d JR Rail Pass and a budget of 6k-7k yen per day excluding accommodation & theme park ticket. I currently have a general outline for the trip and I’d like to hear your thoughts on it and whether the objectives will be realistic within the timeframes, etc.
**June 17 (Day 1):**
* (9AM-11AM) ICN -> KIX
* (11AM-2PM) Immigration, Lunch, Activate JR Pass
* (3PM-4:30PM) Osaka -> Hiroshima
* **Objectives**: A-Bomb Dome/Peace Memorial, Hiroshima style okonomiyaki
**June 18 (Day 2):**
* (12AM-2PM or earlier) Hiroshima -> Osaka
* **Objectives**: Osaka Castle, Shinsekai, Dotonbori, Minami, Kuromon Market
**June 19 (Day 3):**
* **Objectives**: Universal Studios Japan Osaka (Nintendo World)
**June 20 (Day 4):**
* (8AM-9AM) Osaka -> Himeji
* (7PM-8PM or later) Himeji -> Osaka
* **Objectives**: Himeji Castle, Koko-en, Mt. Shosha
**June 21 (Day 5):**
* (10AM-11AM) Osaka -> Nara
* (8PM-9PM) Nara -> Kyoto
* **Objectives**: Nara Park, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Grand Shrine
**June 22 (Day 6):**
* **Objectives**: Gion District, Kiyomizu Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nishiki Market
**June 23 (Day 7) :**
* (8PM-11PM or later) Kyoto -> Tokyo
* JR Pass Expires
* **Objectives**: Lots of food stuff, Shibuya, Asakusa, Akihabara, Ginza, Ghibli Museum, Shinjuku, Tsukiji Market, Enoshima Beach, Pokemon Center, Pokemon Cafe(?), Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum
**June 29 (Day 13):**
* (2PM) NRT -> ICN
* **Objectives**: Get to Tsukiji Market one more time for breakfast if I can make it.

Objectives aren’t completely set in stone, and I am willing to swap stopping at Nara for something else if someone has a good recommendation since I am really only interested in Nara Park.

I think day 2 should be Hiroshima – Himeji – Osaka. Shift everything by one day and eliminate the Himeji day in the middle. There’s no reason to backtrack.
I always suggest going to Uji and see Byodo-in. So maybe instead of Nara you can do that.
Seems like a really hectic trip.
