「あたたかかった」Say it three times fast!

I was thinking about how 暖かい often gets truncated to あったかい because of how difficult it is to pronounce in fast speech. Then I started wondering: in English when we talk about difficult words and tongue twisters, we often challenge each other to “say X three times, fast!” What’s the corresponding phrase in Japanese? 「X」と3回早くてしゃべって? Or maybe 呼んで?I’m pretty sure 話して wouldn’t be it.

Also post your record. Mine is 2.5 seconds in around 12 tries.

  1. I would say :
    ねぇ、あたたかかった って早口(はやくち)で3回言って(いって)みて or 言って!
Hey. Try to say /Say あたたかかった three times fast!

In Japanese, tongue twisters is called as 早口言葉(はやくちことば) 🙂

  2. As long as it’s not the appearing song lyrics as in karaoke. I have confidence in my pronunciation.

Because desire censor is real. And you will stumble the moment you don’t want to stumble the most.

I still remember you, [restoration ~沈黙の空~] by kotoko.

‘Ushinawareru kanjou’ should never be that hard.
