Hi. I’m hoping for some help from Aussies. Has anybody renewed their QLD license from abroad?
If so, how did you have your photo taken? The photo requirements specifies a background color of white, cream or pale blue. So I guess the standard Japanese passport style is out.
Please let me know if you’re in the know.

Go to Kitamura and tell them the photo size and background you need and they can probably do it. They did my photo for my US passport renewal, which is 5cm x 5cm with a white background.
I renewed my Victorian one last year and they just kept the same photo. So I am going to have a photo of me age 30 until I am 50 I guess? I just paid the fee and it was posted to my parents place.
Maybe QLD does the same?
Is the interactive online form asking for a picture to renew? If you’re trying to renew using one of the standard offline forms/pdfs then it’ll be more of a hassle.
