My car slipped on the ice, and it struck some road signage and barriers at a construction site. No one was injured, and no other vehicles were involved. I’m talking to the construction site workers, but I’m not sure what I should do next. If anyone has advice, please help out.

Call the police so that official statements can be made. This helps protect you in case the other side wants to inflate things later. Also call your insurance right after calling the police.
That’s what you pay the insurance company for.
> My car slipped on the ice,
I just met a guy that drove all the way here from Tokyo on normal tyres with chains. In this fucking weather. He believes he’ll be totally fine because he drives an Audi and they have AWD.
Don’t be that guy.
Not targetted at the OP, just general advice.
