1. I am surprised someone hasn’t written a research paper into the terrible effects of a long term government making all its decisions for the benefit of large companies and their golf buddies. Add into the mix a society that has evolved from a state of almost total serfdom (so they have never learnt to complain) – and you have Japan.

   Any societal collapse falls squarely on the shoulders of the LDP and the industry leaders that live in luxury and pay their staff peanuts.
