I already asked the mods for permission to post this, many thanks as I know that this is not normally what is posted here. ❤️But there’s this Japanese learning game that I played when I was a kid (early 2000s), and I can’t remember the name of it; I was curious if anyone here remembers playing this game or something similar?

**Platform(s):** PC

**Genre:** Educational

**Estimated year of release:** Uncertain, however I played it in the early 2000s.

**Graphics/art style:** I’m afraid I don’t recall, but not-photo-realistic.

**Notable characters:** There wasn’t a specific main character, or rather you as the player were the ‘main character’.

**Notable gameplay mechanics:** There were a bunch of mini-games, however the one I remember specifically showed you a face, and then you had to recreate the face based on the Japanese voice lines. I.E. the narrator saying, “The eyes are brown,” (in Japanese), and you’d have to select the brown eyed option.

**What I’ve tried searching:** Variations of Japanese learning games/edutainment mostly get me modern lists of games you can use to learn Japanese, such as what modern video games you can play in Japanese to help you practice. “2000s Japanese learning game” also yields no results, I’m afraid. I also searched r/LearnJapanese for “computer game”.

**Other details:** I’m afraid I don’t have any, my apologies. どうもありがとうみんなさん!
