5. I’m really excited to see where this leads. I think SANADA can really get going if he’s given the chance. I do think he needs to get out of LIJ, which is why I’m excited for this.

6. I still think Sanada should have been the one to turn on Naito and win the double titles. He could have betrayed Naito and LIJ to win it all, only to eventually lose both titles and his faction, becoming lone wolf character, isolated by his own decisions. Later on he could have redeemed himself saving Naito from someone else. This could have given him an edge, and a story that I feel he has been lacking.

12. He had so much opportunities, but never felt like more than a midcarder at the end of the day. He’s talentend, so maybe he can finally change things and become the star he’s supposed to be, there’s a lot of work to do though. I don’t have big expectations from him anymore but who knows. He’s 35 years old, there’s still some time to change the course of his career.

13. ok this would never happen but hear me out… give Sanada Taichi’s gimmick. the whole look, singing intro, and have him bring love gifts for Miki Motoi every show she’s there. love letters, roses, gift boxes, Sanada teddy bears, anything… with the hopes she will become his “muse” one day.

    Meanwhile Taichi is still Taichi and accuses Sanada of gimmick infringement which he denies, and accuses Taichi further of stealing his pec popping spot.

    The moral of the story is, this is how far I had to stretch to find Sanada interesting. He needs a full rebirth worse than Naito ever did.

14. Would be sad to see him go but he isn’t gonna get a look in with Naito as leader and Shingo as clear number two of LIJ heavyweights.

    I think SANADA has genuinely massive potential as a top pure babyface and that crowd would eat it up. Good looking guy with a smooth and beautiful style. Easy money.
