2. Looks like another nothingburger. Tour groups only, non-specific “limited and gradual” timeline, no new info on further easing of daily caps.

   “arrivals will initially be limited to guided tour groups” – gives a ray of hope.

   But based on what we’ve seen so far, it will be political games until the election it seems.

4. Some say the mystery is when Japan will truly open.

   But the real mystery is how many times will they run this same news story with literally no new details?

5. North Korean style tourism. Only Laos and Vietnam (as far as I know), both one-party authoritarian regimes, re-opened in this way – and both are now fully open to tourists without restrictions.
