Judging by the comments made in this report and others, it looks like the people on these trial tours are not regular tourists, but tourism industry professionals who are looking to sell these tours to prospective travellers in their home countries.

This is a ridiculous shit show 🤭 What is Japan testing really? All countries have opened their borders and tourism is open everywhere. Why does Japan think it’s different than any other country?! Humans are the same everywhere (physiologically) 🤔
