1. Why would you go out to the backcountry *now*? Anyone with any avy training would tell you that it’s high risk, even without the avalanche warnings that were issued. Idiots.

   Edit: the article was updated after I read it. What I said still holds true. There’s no reason so many people would be involved in a slide if they had basic training. They should have all rode one by one down the slope…shouldn’t have been there in the first place with all of the recent and continued snow fall. It’s **insane** to be in the backcountry right now.
