Cubes per recipe? Package has two sections of 4 cubes each. Recipe on box says add cubes to 1000 mL water. Would that be 4 cubes as seen in the photo? Thanks!

  1. Yeah this would be for 4 cubes.

Depending on how you’re making the curry, you’ll find out how much water works for you. I like roasting my veggies in the oven and then adding to the curry, so I start with only 3 cups of water so it’s quicker to reduce to my preferred consistency (this makes it a bit easier for a quick weeknight meal IMO). If I was cooking my vegetables in the pot (which is the typical method), it would make sense to start with the 4 cups.

Suggest following the instructions on the box your first time and you can tweak from there.

  2. I think for 10 servings, you use 8 cubes. You could always do 4, check the flavor when they are melted in and see if you need more.

  3. Everybody has already given you the correct answer, which is half the box, but I’ll tell you in my experience that is never enough! I always add an extra cube or two.

Another tip, it will stay clumped up and it’s hard to disperse, I always take a mallet and pound it first.
