Good evening,
Long term lurker (and thank you all for your informative posts).
I recently decided to take a Japanese course online. I wouldn’t mind applying for a college or going with a recommended online school. I searched this subreddit and made a Google search but I am still not sure on the best resources. I prefer the structure of a class with self-study on the side. Flexibility is nice but I am open to a variety of options.
TLDR: what online classes would you recommend for a relative beginner? College, language school, or other miscellaneous resources
Thank you

Where are you located?
The answer to everything in the universe is 42.
Similarly, the answer to every question in this sub is genki1+2 and tobira OR anki 2k core—> reading and listening. No different then the rest of the advice you just thanked us for. I told you everything you need to know; you can now unsubscribe from this sub and start learning japanese. Also, remembering the kanji by james heisig.
Thanks.

If you genuinely want to get anywhere with a language, at least within any reasonable timeframe, classes arent the way to go. So my answer is none.
