1. None of the big box stores require anything anymore. They’re just on the shelf these days.

3. What games are you planning to do OP? I suggest Demon’s Soul and any other PS5 exclusive. So nice seeing an excited gamer, I remember when I got mine lol.

6. My Amazon invitation finally came last week after a year and a half of waiting. Had fun setting it up and moving files over, until… wait, there’s no optical out? I had to buy this dodgy-looking HDMI splitter thing (~3000 yen) to get the PS5 to output sound to my speakers while sending video to the monitor.

   Very glad to finally have one, though.

7. Unfortunately, I am one of those who kind of lost interest and moved onto playing PC games and Quest 2 VR. Especially considering most titles are still cross PS4/PS5 I have very little reason to switch.

   I am interested in PSVR2, but I am not lining up as an early adopter for it until at least there is some sort of bundled package and is reasonably abundant. This is me speaking as a PSVR1 fanboy. But Sony certainly made so many strategic mistakes on PSVR2 facing a strong competition like the Quest.

9. Ps5 slim/pro rumors strong in my feed though, I’ll pass on more than two year old hardware.

11. Wish Amazon have them on stock. My local Joshin and book off don’t have them on stock too.

12. I’m still waiting for an xbox series x, I cant seem to find one anywhere but I’ve been seeing ps5’s on shelves a lot recently.

14. Been too long for me. Might as well wait for a pro/slim/better model at this point
