I bought a used washer/drier combo from Amazon from the manufacturer Sharp. It’s all good and all but it smells a bit weird and funky particularly when using the drier mode . Does anyone have any idea if there’s a filter or something I can replace?

Have you run it through a clean cycle with a drum cleaner solution (basically bleach)?
Literally buy a bottle of washing machine cleaner and run it as instructed.

Perhaps give the hoses an inspection if they detatch easily. Make sure there’s no mold or whatever inside.
For cleaning the unit itself, bleach, vinegar OR baking soda run on the hot cycle (if available) usually does the trick
