Hi, I have an old Sony Ericsson j105i Naite that won’t turn on, the battery’s dead. I tried to Google shops in Japanese but couldn’t really find anything. If there’s any place in the world that sells these old batteries, I figure Akihabara must be it, no? Anyone knows where I can get one?

I mean, according to Wikipedia it uses a BST-33 battery, which I’m able to easily find in various world shops via Google. This likely isn’t something you need to hunt hard for.

I pick you up to look at the HardOff, they are stores where there are all kinds of old electronics, to see if there is any luck
Also the different models of Sony Ericsson usually share the same battery, try to Google the model of your battery and which devices use it and you can find it easier
There are a bunch of “malls” (for lack of a better term) that from the outside don’t look like much but are multi-floor rabbit warrens of small stores that in many cases are not much bigger than booths that sell all kinds of old electronic ~~junk~~ stuff that someone might want.
https://www.tokyoradiodepart.co.jp/ is one and http://www.radiocenter.jp/ is another but there are many more as well
You’re gonna do a lot of legwork and wandering but you might be able to find it there.
