Just curious if anyone else is getting weird shipping timelines on Amazon? I understand the weather etc. but for me everything I click on is marked ‘arrives Friday’.
Clicked various items too, anything from a small power bank to a projector screen (need one for work): all Friday.

Last Thursday i ordered some stuff and it said it would arrive Monday.
It arrived the next day. Kansai as well.
Prime member in Kansai here. Ever since last weekend I was getting really weird changes in shipping dates. Last Friday 1/27 it said the earliest would be this Friday 2/3. Then a few hours later it said if I ordered in 15 hours I could have it delivered on Sunday 1/29. Few hours after that, it was back to Friday 2/3…
I ended up giving up on getting anything earlier than Friday 2/3 and just scheduled the delivery for the morning. I have some doubts that it will actually arrive on time…
Amazon has been dicking us around for a while now. Considering that Prime hardly ever has next-day shipping anymore, let alone the rest of their problems, I might just cancel my subscription.
There was a huge snow storm here a few days ago. All those undelivered packages need to filter through the system before they get to new ones
I ordered something on 1/23 that had an ETA of Fri 1/27 when I added it, then Fri 2/3 by the time I checked out a few minutes later (same item, same seller, no swaps or anything – just the date changed). Showed up Sun 1/29. It was in stock but didn’t ship out until 1/28, so I don’t think it’s entirely weather related.
Kansai based Prime member here. Had a message last week about a shipping delay on an order and it ended up arriving two days earlier than they stated.
FYI one item I ordered was due friday and I cancelled it as I will be out of town skiing. When I went to re-order and schedule shipping for next week it said the product will arrive today and at latest tomorrow…
Deliveries do seem to be improving.
Funny story, I ordered something December 1st with a ETA of less than a week. By the end of December they declared it lost and ask if I wanted a refund. Was so busy and then sick totally forgot about it. Well today it showed up two months to the day of ordering it. So yeah a slight delay.
