* Murasaki Sports (snowboards) has multiple locations in Sapporo including one near Odori subway station
* Sports House is another huge sporting goods store near Odori
* Sports Depo (by Alpen Group) has also multiple location in Sapporo including near Sapporo Beer Museum and in Miyanosawa, in Hakodate – it has huge store near Goryokaku-koen-mae tram stop and in Asahikawa – opposite Otokayama Sake Brewing Museum
* Shukaguso has multiple locations including one near Kitajunijo subway station
* Hard Off in Nishi-Miyanosawa’s in Sapporo has good reputation for having a choice of skis and accessories
* Paddle Club has multiple locations in Sapporo and has both skiing and outdoor gear
* Montbell has multiple locations in Sapporo including one in Akarenga Terrace (near Clock Tower)
* 2nd Street and Super Sports Xebio stores are located near each other in Showa district of Hakodate
North Face and Patagonia have multiple shops in Sapporo and Hakodate
