Statement of reason for visa extension

I received a mail today from the Immigration office that asks me to have a statement of reason in an A4 size paper, unless google translate is wrong.

I’m only renewing my visa (Engineering/Specialist in Humanities/Int’l Services) not applying for a PR, has anyone ever experienced this? How do I go about this? Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!

This is what was written in the mail:
外国語資料には、日本語訳をつけて下さい。
理由書、コピー等はA4サイズでお願いします
