Hi all,
No matter what I do. I don’t seem to be able to link my JRE point account to Ekinet. I’ve tried on Safari and Brave, mobile and laptop, with translation off and on. But no matter what I always get the same error message.
Like everything involving the internet in Japan, this seems to be an endless spiral. Anybody know what I am doing wrong?
Below is the error for anyone interested:

Are you sure your name on Ekinet and JRE Point are exactly the same? I had this issue in the past where either Ekinet or JRE Point had my name with a space in it or something (middle name issues) and after I got the name changed, it let me link them.
I had the same issue with JRE having my name in katakana and Ekinet in Romaji. And also for View Card. Something about the name not matching.
Only solution was to call them, explain the issue, ask them to fix the name. It took me few hours of call and explaining and reverify-ing my identity through each step. But at the end it worked.
