Hello! Me and my bf who live in Nagoya and my friend who lives in Kobe would like to go for a ski trip.
I am a complete beginner and would like to try snowboarding, preferably with an instructor.
None of us own any equipment or clothes for skiing, so it needs to be a resort where they rent those. We would also like to stay there for 1-2 nights. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, I don’t even know where to start looking as I have zero experience with such trips.

Do you have access to a car, and can you drive on snow and ice?

Biwako valley, 45 minutes from Kyoto so easy to get to, lotta easy groomed runs, and my march you can get there in a Kei and summer tires.
