Does anyone have a recommendation for a tasty brand of furikake with no sugar?

I’m really not a fan of sweet foods. I’ll eat them if I have to because I’m not picky, but I generally don’t go out of my way to buy/order them. And when I say “sweet,” I mean any amount of sweetness, even like a plain baked sweet potato. It’s a blessing and a curse because I genuinely can’t remember the last time I ate a cookie, brownie, chocolate bar, piece of cake, etc., but it’s boring when someone brings donuts to work and I’d literally rather not have one.

Anyway, I bought [this furikake](https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/207d1a7c-8db4-4dec-97c8-7f0339bbca6c_1.8a4a339639abaa25751e978b188db629.jpeg?odnHeight=768&odnWidth=768&odnBg=FFFFFF) a few weeks ago, and while it isn’t bad, it’s definitely too sweet (you can tell the #2 ingredient is sugar). So I was wondering if anyone knew of a brand that has no sugar but still has dried fish, sesame seeds, seaweed, salt, and MSG. Thanks!

  1. Have you considered making your own? You can buy fish flakes, salt, sesame seeds, seaweed, and msg.

  2. I don’t like sugar in furikake either. I’ve only ever been able to find some without by going to Japanese-specific grocery stores and reading the ingredients on every pack. There aren’t that many.

  3. Make your own. It’s very easy. Also that stuff in your pic is made in China.
