I am on Mac and using the MacOS Japanese IME. When I am trying to type the above sentence, I typed “ga n ba te ku da sa i ne” and this appears:
“がんばてくださいね” – It does not have the “pause つ” in the sentence.
How do I correctly type the “pause つ”?

Try typing “ga n ba **tte** ku da sa i ne”
double consonant of the kana AFTER your っ もって。= Motte
