I really really don’t like it now, I feel like everytime I open that app to try it again it gets worse. Like why do you need to subscription to filter gender? That’s such a basic thing.
I suchs because a few years ago it was a pretty good app. It’s really hard learning when I don’t have anyone to talk to, I haven’t had any luck finding apps like hello talk surprisingly. So does anyone know where they’re hiding?

It is shit because you can filter gender … back in the days you couldn’t even enlarge profile pictures. Today it is like a dating app. Girls complain about hundreds of messages while boys get zero attention.
Tandem is another one. It does have an option to practice with those who have the same gender as you which you don’t have to pay for. Although it still faces the issue where it is kind of used like a dating app unfortunately but looking for partners of the same gender may help.
