Im trying to lock my bike up for 2 months in Setagaya/Meguro. I have just been locking it up in random places as I jump from one living arrangement to the next and luckily havent gotten it stolen or taken to bike prison yet. I have seen lots of people just parking bikes everywhere so figured it wasn’t an issue. Trying to find a good place to put it because locking it up in random places and lugging it around on the subway isn’t ideal. Tried to take it to one of those underground eco-cycle garages today but the tires were too wide.

Many of the long term, multi-level, station garages require you to provide proof you live or work in the area. However, their day parking isn’t restricted – though I’m not sure the longest you could leave it there without issue. A few days is no problem but a few weeks might be an issue.
