Dear redditers,
I am currently a student at a university, and I will start working in 2 months. I would like to know the procedure and the time scale for changing the status of the Visa from student to working. Since my workplace asked me to find out the required documents to be submitted by the workplace to the immigration bureau, I’m confused.
If anyone has experience in converting a student visa to a work visa, please help me.
I have also sent an e-mail to the immigration bureau to enquire regarding this.

Is this a legit Japanese company? Usually it is the company telling you to bring in copies of passport, residence card, diploma/certificate, application form, etc.
