I’m planning to attend language school in Japan somewhere in the near future, I’m just not sure which region/area. I heard the Tokyo area schools are pretty pricey, as well as a lot of good things from the schools in Fukuoka and Kyoto. Obviously, the dialects are gonna be different, and this might be a dumb question but do they go over the dialects depending on where the school is located? Also what were some of your experiences in these schools, did you naturally pick up the dialect of the region where you attended class? I’m curious on where I should attend and how my speech would turn out.

What do you want to do after you graduate?
I chose Tokyo purely based on the fact that job hunting was easier. My heart said Kyoto, but my brain said Tokyo.
