Not terribly inspiring. There’s a few acts I’d love to see in a club, though.
Pretty excited for Foo Fighters. I’m hoping they’d have a separate show in Tokyo. One can dream.
It’s moot as I won’t be able to go this year but I’d be happy seeing Lizzo, Louis Cole, Slowdive, Yo la Tengo, Romy, and Sudan Archives
It’s strooooong so far. Not $500 three days in a cold tent strong, but it’s pretty good!
Oddly high billing for Louis Cole there above Weezer (I like them both though).
Oddly low billing for Ginger Root given the speed his Tokyo shows sold out. Black Midi are great live too.
If Kendrick, Thundercat and Blur are all on the same day, I’d probably lean more towards Summersonic this year.
Weezsr was my first show ever in 1996(?) with No Doubt and Edna Swamp. I’d love to see Weser again and MAYBE the Foo Fighters but that’s about it.
