I take it for epilepsy and it’s helped keep me seizure free for 12 years. With that being said generic versions of this med don’t work for me after trying them. How much would it cost if available with JET program insurance?
Lamictal is on the list with a standard price of 128.20yen per 100mg dose. The generics are around a third of that cost.
There is some variance between market price and standard price, but not much.
With National Health Insurance you can expect to pay 30% of the market price. I believe this is also tax deductible (I’m sure one of the finance gurus will correct me if I’m wrong though).
