I have been reading some stuffs in Japanese, and sometimes I have trouble differentiating between big つ and small っ. I can read it mostly fine when written horizontally, but when written vertically I sometimes don’t know if its big つ or small っ. Is there anyway to see it easier?

The one surefire way to read it properly all the time is to recognize the full word it’s being used in.
Get more practice reading vertical
