I’m travelling with a group of 9, we are all very lively people who don’t get tired easily (meaning we prefer slightly packed days), we are foodies and only have surface level interest in temples and shrines.
Day 1 – May 16
Leave Tokyo, go to Kyoto
Check in to airbnb (check in usually 4PM
Eat ( idk where ?)
Nijo castle
Kyoto Imperial Palace
Walk around Aeon Mall ?
Dinner – idk
Day 2 – May 17
Nishiki market (food)
Shiba cafe / Loutre otter cafe
Yasaka shrine
Sanneizaka (walk through to see Hokan-ji temple)
Hokan-ji temple
Maccha house (snack)
Kiyomizu-dera
Go back to BNB
Dinner – HIRO Yakiniku Kiyamachi OR Yakiniku Dining Gyurakutei
Day 3 – May 18
Breakfast
Fushimi Inari shop (rent kimonos)
Fushimi Inari Shrine (will take like 6 hours minimum)
Lunch – lots of street food and markets along the walk
Go back to BNB
Dinner – Griddle Force Itsuraku
Day 4 – May 19
Kinkaku-ji
Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
Arashiyama Moneky Park
Dinner – idk?
I feel like we could do so much more, please provide any suggestions.

Not sure is Fushimi Inari-taisha would really take 6h minimum, I mean even hiking to the top should not be that long. If you do the kimono rental there, you would want to stay around the shrine before taking it of for the hike. In that regard, it could make more sense to do the kimono rental around Higashiyama (your day 2) as it would be easier to stroll around in kimono.

anything more than 3-4 people it is HIGHLY recommended you make reservations for restaurants.

I’d suggest you don’t visit animal cafes. They’re cruel and the dogs are way too young and piss on the mats you will be sitting on
