Senator Gershie said the Constituent Assembly and the Restoration Association are ‘bunch of assholes’

On 3 March, Garthy, a member of the upper house of the NHK party, who has been absent from the National Diet, commented on social networking sites that the Rikken Democratic Party and Japan Restoration Association had agreed to submit a bill to review the age fees and other expenses of Diet members who do not come to Parliament without a valid reason, saying that they are a bunch of assholes.

   Both the Rikken and Ishin parties confirmed at the meeting that they would consider submitting the bill. After the meeting, Rikken National Diet Chairman Azumi said, “If they do not come to the House of Representatives without a valid reason, stopping their annual expenses for that period is what the people are asking for”.

   On his social networking site, Mr Garcie wrote: “How is stopping my spending alone going to make the world a better place? Is making an example of me now what the people who voted for you want?” He added: “If that’s what you think, you’re so stupid, quit being a senator.
   He added: “I can fight with you guys without any hesitation, so please bark as much as you want. Nothing will resonate with us lol”.
