Which Japanese Reader you actually enjoyed?

For those who don’t know, Japanese Reader is a book with short stories written in Japanese (with hiragana guide for kanjis) and then there’s English translation

  1. Personally I preferred to make my own readers. I bought the English version and the Japanese version if the same book and put them on the screen side by side. Or I’d have one on screen and the other in a kindle.

  2. I’ve only read a few very basic ones but those didn’t have translations. Is it more common on higher levels?
