It’s a plating company and the role is for technical and overseas sales. During the first interview, they mentioned I was a strong candidate (but also mentioned they also had other strong candidates). The only edge I feel like I got is I know a little bit of Japanese.
I got invited for a second interview. What should I expect? They didnt ask any technical questions during the first interview aside from if i had any knowledge about plating.
Can I ask questions regarding salaries this time? The base salary is ¥220000 with company housing at minimal cost (they mentionwd ¥10000). The company is located in Tokyo.
What else should I be asking during the interview?
Some background about me:
-i just started my first job in quality control (5 months ago)
-im currently in a japanese company in my country (of that helps)
-engineering graduate
Edit: added another zero to salary

Uhhh, you sure about that? That’s ~$200 USD.
Even if it’s ¥220,000, that seems really low for a sales position requiring an engineering background.
