Maybe some of you have come across this before. I’ve only been studying since last August, and I wanted to buy some English/Japanese children’s books to improve my reading, while also teaching my boys basic vocabulary and sentences along with me while I learn. I found this book called “Am I Small?” But the Japanese translation underneath says わたしはちいさいの? I might be incorrect, but shouldn’t it read わたしはちいさいですか。instead? I wondered if that kind of thing was common for children’s books, but this is all new territory for me. I didn’t want to purchase it if the grammar/sentence structures weren’t right.
Also, if anyone has any children’s book suggestions, I would love to know!

Btw, km sure it’s just a typo, but it should be *ちいさい
not ちさい but ちいさい
(perhaps that is expression of immature her language ability. idk)

It is asking what do you think about that I’m thinking ”わたしはちいさいです”.
「わたしはちいさいです」is a conclusion, and she is asking for your opinion on it.

わたし は ちいさい の？
It is asking if “わたしはちいさい” is true?
「わたしはちいさい」is a phenomenon, and she is asking for that is true.
