There is this girl I met in Tokyo, who I have been hanging out with for almost 2 months. She really likes flowers, so my initial plan was to confess my love with a rose, however my classmates at my language school think that that might be a bit too old fashioned and exaggerated, which I absolutely understand. Now I am afraid that I am setting myself up for a huge disappointment if it all goes wrong (because I would be putting all my eggs in one basket). Do you think a rose is a too much for a just a confession? She isn’t even my girlfriend yet.

More context:
I met her at a homestay in Tokyo. I never asked her on a date, because it was not my intention to fall in love with her and I hate the idea of a long distance relationship. I think we might have been going to dates, even though it was not meant to be like that, like Disneyland, Atami, Hakone, flower parks, cute cafes and more. Probably went out with her about 10 times. I paid for most of the meals and I have started to really like her. We had fun and we are still hanging out even though I already moved to another place in Tokyo. I am going to Ashikaga flower park with her on Wednesday, because she likes flowers!

Make sure to wear a bowtie and hold the rose between your teeth.
You do you dude.
Go for it. You know she likes flowers, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t give it a shot.
Good luck!
Are you going to delete this post too?
If you think she’d like it, I say go for it!
A single flower? Why not a flower arrangement?
You do you dude. Side note they sell light up plastic roses at Ashikaga flower park for taking pictures at night with!
