Pay Pay

Is there a way to register Pay Pay with a Residence Card? Is there a way to contact support? I would like to link my Japan Post bank account.

No, only driver’s license or MyNumber Card. So get one of those.

Sort of. There is a contact form on the website, that you can find in the FAQ sometimes. For example under the “I can’t log in” question.

You’d need the valid ID, as stated above. I don’t think there’s another way to link.

  2. When I signed up for a PayPay Ginko account I had to provide a copy of my MYNumber card and my residency card by post mail. To verify your ID through the app you need either a MyNumber card or a Japanese drivers license.

  3. Nope.
    My Number or Driving License.

I tried with Residence card and they just told me to renew My Number card.
I have it, but it expired and I don’t feel like going to city hall right now.

  4. I’m glad to see a recent post about paypay, is it just impossible for americans to use paypay? I had to quit on the application because I got to a dead end where it wouldn’t let me continue as an american. Am I missing something? Any help greatly appreciated.

  5. You can also get a Paypay account and not provide ID if you’re a LINEMO, Ymobile, or Softbank subscriber.
