Installing a gas kitchen water heater

I bought a second hand water heater and it came with just the sink nozzle.
Am I supposed to buy the water and gas pipe myself? Or will the guy who comes to install it from the gas company bring these with him?

Same about screws and such (or is the installation just hooking in the gas pipe and I’m supposed to set up the heater in advance?)

  1. So you _do_ own your place, right? (If not, talk to your landlord.)

Personally, I’d rely on the gas company–or one of their approved contractors. Plumbing for the gas, and the water.

  2. The guy from the gas company will do a proper installation. You may have to pay for any additional parts that are required.
