  1. Not sure what this spread cost, or how it tasted, but it looks damn nice for a chain grocery store product. And my local grocery stores NEVER have uni, so this is a major score.

  2. This cannot be since the sushi restaurant wouldn’t let you bring in outside food. Also, if chained food market makes their sushi like this, they wouldn’t be able to pay for their chefs! Again, the seafoods are too exotic for a food market lol! Even many sushi restaurants don’t carry this lineup. So OP must be a friend of the restaurant or you are the restaurant owner to get hooked up with quality sushi on the Kroger plates.

  3. Even the kroger in the swanky part of town, that literally had a sushi conveyor belt, didn’t have sushi this nice…

  4. Isn’t Krogers, Ralph’s grocery stores? I have a Ralph’s by me but the sushi are only rolls. I get toro, uni, ikura, amaebi, etc nigiri at the Japanese grocery store where I always get sushi. Looks just like this, delicious!

Come to think of it, this Krogers probably has a contract with a local Japanese grocery store that makes these sushi platters. I don’t know of any grocery stores that have such a wide variety of sushi besides Japanese grocery stores

  5. Seriously. What specific Kroeger is this from? I’ve been a Kroger shopper for almost 20 years and have never seen anything this nice.

This looks so good that I almost don’t believe it. It might be more believable that you work as the “Director of Sushi” at Kroeger, and this post is actually an ad. Hmmmm?

  6. I considered getting some the last time I went to Kroger too! We must live in the same area
