I’m working on my BA in Film & TV studies, part of which involves learning Japanese. I’m trying to polish up my singing and speaking voice after events this past summer kinda wrecked it. Long story short, I’m looking for tongue twisters and/or test sentences (e.g. “The fish was delish and it made quite a dish”) to help me practice. What are some of your favorites?
よろしくおねがいします!

I think that the vocab word 現れる is a tongue-twister
especially in passive form 現れられる
that’s あらわれられる
Tongue twisters = 早口言葉 (はやくちことば) and some of the most famous are:
– 生麦生米生卵 (なまむぎなまごめなまたまご)
– 東京特許許可局 (とうきょうとっきょきょかきょく)
– 赤巻紙青巻紙黄巻紙 (あかまきがみあおまきがみきまきがみ)
More examples [here](https://ranking.goo.ne.jp/ranking/1317/).
外郎売 is a test passage(?) a lot of news announcers and voice actors practice to improve their oration.
In general look for things that claim to improve 滑舌 or 発声
My japanese friend taught me these:
ブラジル人ミラクルビラ配り burajirujin mirakuru birakubari
主婦手術中 shufushujutsuchuu
Monogatari tongue twister. There is text at 1:20.
