Is 強い being correctly used in the following sentence “彼女は酒に強い”

I am currently having a minor dilemma about this, considering I can’t find clear answers to this question and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use 強い correctly and if it works in that sentence. Since I would like to say something along the lines of “She handles alcohol well/is resistant against alcohol” as in doesn’t affect her so badly, but I am not sure if it’s correct.

On [Jisho.org](https://Jisho.org) I can see that 強い can be used to express “being able to handle; know how to deal (with); durable (against); resistant (to); resilient”, but is this a correct usage of this?

  1. Xに強い – strong against (resilient to) X

    Xに弱い – weak against X

    ヒトカゲは水ポケモンのワザに弱いけど、草ピケモンのワザに強い。
