Itinerary Check: 2 Days in Tokyo

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with my two day itinerary in Tokyo coming up in a week. Generally, I’m looking to walk around and take in the sights/experiences. I don’t shop much, but I’ll pop into stores that look interesting. I really enjoy coffee and beer, so if you have any cool spots i’m all ears! I’ve read a lot of other itineraries and trip reports, but its hard to wrap my mind around the scale of the city, and what’s possible for a day. My goal is to see as much as i can while still keeping the flexibility to sit and enjoy a drink at interesting locations. Thank you!

Night 0 (Sunday):

* Land NRT around 5 pm
* NEX to Shibuya
* Check into hotel in Shibuya.
* Shibuya Sky
* Drinks in Shibuya.

Day 1 (Shibuya – Shinjuku):

* I’m thinking of doing this [self guided tour](https://www.gpsmycity.com/tours/shibuya-walking-tour-1758.html). I will likely skip Mandarake and Omotesando Ave.
* Lunch: Ichiran
* Godzilla Head
* Samurai Museum
* Dinner: Kitaohji, Kikikawa, or Yakiniku Blackhole (Options i’ve found through posts)
* Omoide Yokocho (another dinner option?)
* Golden Gai
* Kabukicho (Not sure about this as a solo male traveler)

Day 2 Option 1: (Is this too much for one day?)

* Team Labs
* Senso-ji Shrine, and surrounding street
* Hoppy Street
* Tokyo Sky Tree
* Akihabara (I don’t follow anime, but have an appreciation for gaming. Still worth a visit?)

Day 2 Option 2:

* Team Labs
* Ginza (It would be cool to see Grand Seiko since I love window shopping watches)
* Tokyo Tower
* Roppongi
