I am going to Japan in early April for a 14-day trip with one other person, and there were a lot of places that I wanted to go to. Is it possible to fit all these places in 2 weeks? Here is my initial itinerary:
**April 6: Arrive at Narita Airport Tokyo, stay 3 nights**
* Shibuya sky, Ueno park, Teamlab Planets, meeting with friends.
**April 8: Go to Mt. Fuji – stay 1 night**
**April 9: go to Kyoto for 5 nights**
* first 3 nights – Fushimi inari, yasska pagoda, any recommendations for cherry blossom spots?
* day 4, Osaka day trip (universal studios)
* day 5, Nara day trip (mt Yoshino, nara deer park)
**April 13: go to Hiroshima for maybe a day trip**
* Visit Tomonoura (Ponyo village)
**April 14: Go to Oita for 1 night**
* Yufuin Floral Village, walk around Yufuin, and maybe visit Beppo
**April 15: arrive in Miyazaki for 1 night**
* Visit Takachiho
**April 16: Go to Nagano and stay 1 or 2 nights (11 hr with Shinkansen)**
* Narai-Juku
* Kamikochi
**April 18: go back to Tokyo**
I am more interested in the countryside or natural and cultural places of Japan than the big cities, so I want to spend as much time seeing cherry blossoms, mountains, and villages if possible. Do you think that I can get through all these places in just a 14-day trip, or will it be too much work?
Also, does anyone have any food recommendations in these areas?

Oita and Miyazaki seem like a pretty massive detour for only two days, don’t really think it’s worth it.
Check whether Kamikochi is open too, it usually doesn’t open until the end of april.
