  1. I was talking to a Japanese friend of mine and he said a phrase I don’t quite understand. It was “すごーい!なんか依頼しよっと←”. I ran it through google translate just to confirm if he wants to ask me something and it came back as “great! Let’s ask something ←” Which got me kind of confused. I responded with “何それ?” to ask what his request was but that seems to have been the wrong thing to say since he responded with “Request!”. Now I don’t know what to respond to ask him what his request was, if that was even his question. Would love some clarification for this c:

  2. Could I get feedback on whether my grammar makes sense here?

    こんにちは、僕にとってすごくかっこいそう言語から、日本語を勉強するのは興味がある。なぜかというと、子供の頃アニメをいつもみていたかも。そして今でも、アニメを見ることがある、スポーツしたり、絵を書いたり、もちろんアニメを見たりするのが好きです。そしてたまに、マンガを読むことが好きです。喋りたかったら、メッセージしてください。人に話しかけるのは苦手だけど、それを変えようとしている。

    Thank you!

  3. I was wondering about this sentence from the Final Fantasy IV script:

    > ここは、会員制だよ。 さ、出てった 出てった。

For context, here is the script: http://ff4com.s4.xrea.com/ff4conve/conve009.html

I think this is saying “This place is for members only.” But I don’t exactly know what 出てった 出てった. I think it either means “I have to leave” or “get out, get out” but IDK what this った…った grammar pattern is supposed to mean

  4. In the lyrics for 走馬灯 by Vaundy, there’s this bit:

    どこに行こうとしたのかも忘れて

    大事な何かに出会えなくとも

    散々なことが増えてきて

    大事なもの失くしても

Does 出会え mean a command to meet? And if yes can 何か include a person? Or does the lyric 大事な何かに出会えなくとも mean something like, I didn’t deal with the important things too.

  5. are there any premade anki decks for adjectives conjunction and/or “tai”, as in wanting, conjunctions? For instance the front will ask for the “present wanting form of 見る” and the back would be 見たい.

I found a verb conjugation premade deck that has like 16 forms. Its been useful to practice for a few sets of verbs, but i need to practice conjuncting adjectives and the wanting verb form.

  6. Is there a simple fix for when copying website address into notepad that contain kanji so they don’t appear as numbers%% ? ie: %E4%BB%95%
